The core gameplay loop revolves around finding and fortifying strongholds, explore the world to rescue survivors and collect various resources such as food and equipment, and defend the base against zombie attack. All the games feature an open world environment that is infested with zombies. It has been said though that the game is under work in progress and will be out soon.
About the release date, it is yet to be released by any of the makers. Talking of the third edition, there isn’t much information out right now. The plot revolves in a fictional place called Trumbull Valley. It is published by Xbox Game Studios and designed by the legendary James Phinney and Richard Foge. Developed by Undead Labs, the early release was done in the year 2013. It is marked as an action, adventure, horror and venturous genre among all.
